Role – Azure Cloud Systems Manager

Location – Onsite Boston
Duration – 6+ Months Contract
The primary aim for this role is leading and delivering strategically driven, cloud focused technology initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Has the ability to pick up different technology systems, learn key requirements and dependencies critical to ensuring a successful delivery. Key to the success of this role is leading and managing the Cloud Systems Engineering Team, managing workloads, priorities and ensuring solutions being implemented meet the needs of the business.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Bachelor degree
2. Five years or greater experience in cloud computing, previous experience in either a software development or datacenter architecture type role.
3. Advanced Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., Azure Solution Architect Expert) is required.
4. Must have previous migration experience of complex environments that include more than 500 VM's. Experience of refactoring in house developed applications is desirable.
5. Strong understanding of emerging cloud technologies and standards.
6. Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, automation technologies and ideally DevOps operating models.
7. Ability to learn new concepts and carry out technical research with Azure.
8. Demonstrated ability to gain consensus in a diverse working group that may involve both IT and business leaders across multiple disciplines.
9. Understanding of ITIL IT Service Management methodologies.
10. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse technical, and complex projects to completion.
11. Strong communication and leadership skills that produce effective and collaborative cross functional teams.
12. Experience drafting and delivering communications to ensure full transparency within all levels of the business.
13. Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to priorities workload whilst being resilient and able to cope well under pressure
14. Experience in Private Equity / Finance industry beneficial
